*Note: While third party cables may work with the KVM, TRENDnet only supports the use of TRENDnet KVM cables to guarantee compatibility. 

If the image on your monitor is not clear please check the following:

  1. Make sure that your video monitor cables are properly connected to the computer and to the KVM Switch.
  2. Try lowering the refresh rate and resolution of your monitor.

If your mouse is not responding, not detected or there is a mouse error check the following:

  1. Make sure that your mouse is properly connected to the computer and to the KVM Switch. Check that your mouse is plugged into the PS/2 mouse port and not the PS/2 keyboard port.
  2. Connect your mouse to the computer directly to verify that it is working
  3. If you are having trouble with the mouse movement, try resetting the Switch by pressing Scroll Lock + Scroll Lock + End.
  4. Make sure that you do not move the mouse or press any mouse buttons when Switching from one PC to another.
  5. Try resetting the mouse by unplugging it from the KVM for approximately 5 seconds and reconnect it.

If your keyboard is not responding, not detected, or you receive a keyboard error, please check the following:

  1. Make sure that your keyboard is properly connected to the computer and to the KVM Switch. Check that your keyboard is plugged into the PS/2 keyboard port and not the PS/2 mouse port.
  2. Connect your keyboard to the computer directly to verify that it is working.
