With the introduction of the TE100-H16s TRENDnet once again provides a flexible solution to meet the high bandwidth demand and the lowest cost per port in a Fast Ethernet hub.

The innovative stackable hub concept was prompted by the growing importance of LANs, the increasing complexity of desktop computing applications, and the need for high performance networks. The TE100-H16s incorporates the stackable technology and it is scaleable up to 6 TE100-H16s for total of 96 100Mbps ports. With the TE100-H16s Class II specifications there can be two stacks of 6 TE100-H16s raising the total number of 100Mbps ports to 190.

In addition the TE100-H16s is equipped with a slide-in port for an optional 100Base-FX fiber-optic module. The fiber-optic module enables you to break the 5 meters cabling limit when cascading to another TE100-H16s.

The TE100-H16s will provide 100Mbps Fast Ethernet speed, maximize throughput, and free up collision bottlenecks in any network. Used in conjunction with the TE100-S55 10/100Mbps switching hub it delivers a total switched Fast Ethernet network solution.
