TORRANCE, Calif. –April 9, 2008–TRENDnet, a best-in-class networking manufacturer of wired and wireless networking solutions, today announces a 2.4% Channel market share gain for SMB wireless networking devices as reported by CRN, in their Channel Best Seller’s Special Report for calendar year 2007.

CRN’s Channel Best Seller’s Special Report cites data gleaned from The NPD Groups’ Distributor Track market research offering. NPD’s Distributor Track aggregates SKU based sales from members of the Global Technology Distribution Council. Market share data was compiled from January to December 2007 on a total revenue basis and compared to 2006 figures.

For the SMB Wireless Networking Devices category, CRN reported a 2.4% market share gain for TRENDnet (Trendware International Inc.), a -0.9% loss for D-Link, a -4.3% slide for Netgear and a -4.4% market share decline for Linksys.
