The alignment of the company name and trademark provide a consistent image for TRENDnet and partners

Torrance, CA – October 10, 2005 –TRENDnet, a best-in-class networking manufacturer of wired and wireless networking solutions made a formal announcement to align the TRENDnet and TRENDnet brands under a single trademark and brand identity, TRENDnet. Established in 1990, the company has done business as TRENDnet for over 15 years, while its product line has been sold under the officially registered trademark, TRENDnet®. As the size of the company and its brand awareness has grown over the past decade and a half, the need to move to a consistent image and trademark has increased as well. Beginning November 1st, 2005, the company will do business as TRENDnet and will adopt its newly revised logo as the company’s official trademark.

The transition to TRENDnet as the registered company name is timed to coincide with a refresh in the company’s logo and brand image. By conducting a brand survey with end-users, partners and employees over the past two months, the company was able to gain insight into how the brand and the company are perceived both within the company and by its customers. The results helped shape the design of the new image and is intended to incorporate the existing brand equity and perceived attributes of the company as a flexible and dynamic global networking provider.

The transition to the company name, logo and branding effort will officially begin November 1st, 2005.
