Which PoE standards are supported and should I be concerned about voltage?
FAQ ID: 5135 Product: TPE-3182WSB (V1)Updated:8/27/2026 2:25:57 PM
The TPE-3182WSB supports IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and IEEE 802.3bt PoE standards. TRENDnet PoE Switches typically support IEEE industry standards. Please check detailed product specifications under the Product section of our website. If your device is not IEEE PoE compliant it may not be compatible with TRENDnet PoE Switches. Many non-standard PoE devices use passive or proprietary PoE solutions. If the powered device requires specific voltage ranges and is not 802.3bt, 802.3af or 802.3at compliant it will not function with TRENDnet Switches regardless if it fits within the voltage range of standardized PoE specifications.
