Static
This screen enables you to set parameters by which the router forwards data to its destination if your network has a static IP address.
- Enable
- Specifies whether the entry will be enabled or disabled.
- Interface
- Select which interface, WAN or LAN, you use to connect to the Internet.
- Interface (WAN)
- This is the interface that will receive an IP Address from the ISP to access the Internet.
- Destination IP Address
- The IP address of the packets that will take this route.
- Netmask
- One bit in the mask specifies which bits of the IP address must match.
- Gateway
- Type the gateway address for your network. Your ISP or network administrator provides you with this information.
Routing Table
This screen enables you to view the routing table for the router. The routing table is a database created by the router that displays the network interconnection topology.
