Band Steer

The band steering feature alleviates network congestion by redirecting 802.11ac capable wireless clients from the 2.4GHz band to the 5GHz band.

Note:

  To enable the band steering feature, check the Enable box and click Save. Next, please make sure that the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands are assigned the same SSID/network name, wireless security settings, and encryption key.
