Why is my computer still connected to my wireless router instead of the TEW-713RE that has a stronger signal?

When you start your computer it will look at your saved or preferred networks and connect to the one with the strongest signal. It will not Switch to another access point or wireless Router until the signal is too weak to connect. When this happens, it will look at your saved or preferred networks again and connect to the one with the strongest signal.

If you notice your connection is lower than expected, your computer may still be connected to the other access point or wireless Router and not to the TEW-713RE which may have a stronger signal. Until the signal becomes too weak it will try to maintain connection to the first device. Disconnect and reconnect to the wireless network to force it to connect to the TEW-713RE with a stronger signal.
