How do I create a link between two points using fiber converters?
FAQ ID: 3290 Product: TI-UF11SFPUpdated:10/25/2017 9:45:53 AM
To establish a link, both the fiber and copper ports must be connected. Connecting only the fiber cables will not produce a link. Gigabit converters must be connected to Gigabit on the copper side. They will not link to a Fast Ethernet copper port. On the fiber interface, the Transmit and Receive connectors will be inverted on the other side. TX to RX and RX to TX.
