TRENDnet’s TEW-SR224 24-port and TEW-SR216 16-port Wireless Switch Routers combine the features of a wireless access point, switch and router in one device. The routers include dual wide-area network ports, which include load balancing, which helps split the date transmission between the ports. These devices also include redundancy feature, meaning if the Internet service shuts down, an alternate Internet service provider can be accessed from the other port.

TRENDnet has made it easy for the future of small offices to have both wired and wireless network with only one simple device. TRENDnet’s 16 and 24-port Wireless Switch Routers combine three features all in one: a Wireless Access Point, Switch, and Broadband Router. The TEW-227PC Fast Ethernet Combo PC Card, a PCMCIA CardBus Type II, combines 11 Mbps 802.11b wireless and 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet connectivity. It supports three function modes: wireless LAN, LAN and wireless LAN + LAN mode. The card also supports wireless date encryption with 64 or 128-bit wired equivalent privacy security standard.
