The TE-T2 Ethernet transceiver is IEEE 802.3 standard Attachment Unit Interfaces (AUI) that provides quick and easy attachment from a host to any Ethernet media types, including thin coax, 10Base-T unshielded twisted-pair and optic fiber. The transceiver is attached to the host via a DB-15 AUI connector. Using VLSI transceiver chips for high hardware reliability, the TE-T2 transceiver also provides heartbeat, jabber and isolation voltage. To enhance installation compatibility, a SQE jumper is added for selection of the Heartbeat function as well as diagnostic LEDs as standard features.
