Rapid Growth in Sales and Personnel Drives TRENDnet Expansion Project

Torrance, CA –August 2, 2004 – TRENDnet, a leading manufacturer of networking products worldwide, has outgrown its Torrance headquarters and will begin to expand to an office building across the street starting this week.

The expansion comes at the heels of TRENDnet’s staggering success in many markets worldwide. In the last few years, the TRENDnet brand has become a top-two brand in South America and a major player in many European markets. The brand’s growth in Asia, the US, and the Middle East has similarly been impressive. This growth now spurs TRENDnet to scale its team and facilities accordingly.

The new facility will provide additional space for TRENDnet’s growing team and will more than double TRENDnet’s current warehouse capacity. TRENDnet’s operational space will increase from 16,000 ft2 to 40,000 ft2 – an increase that will adequately meet TRENDnet’s needs for at least 3 years.

To seamlessly join the two buildings’ networks, a wireless bridge powered by two units of TRENDnet’s forthcoming 54Mbps TEW-412APBO Outdoor Access Point/Bridge has been implemented. The excellent bandwidth and superior range of the TEW-412APBO make it ideal for this project.

The expansion’s first phase will involve the relocation of TRENDnet’s tech support, web design, product development, and RMA departments; warehouses at both locations will be used concurrently.
