In addition to a new Industrial Fast Ethernet PoE+ DIN-Rail Switch, TRENDnet also adds standard (or non-PoE) Industrial Fast Ethernet DIN-Rail Switches. The company launched their first industrial Fast Ethernet switch with a 5-port PoE+ version earlier this summer to its existing line of rugged and robust industrial switches. Previously, TRENDnet only offered gigabit industrial solutions.

These Industrial Fast Ethernet DIN-Rail Switches give users a cost-effective solution to add industrial-grade Ethernet switches to network devices that do not usually require a high throughput, such as IP cameras and access control panels. And with models that support PoE+, users can save on setup time and installation cost by delivering both power and data over a single cable.

Each TRENDnet Industrial Fast Ethernet PoE+ DIN Rail Switch features a hardened IP30 rated metal enclosure, with a wide operating temperature range for extreme operating conditions from -40° – 167° F (-40° – 75° C). Multiple inputs on TRENDnet industrial switches provide redundant power with overload current protection. The two new 8-port models also feature an alarm relay triggered by power failure. The Fast Ethernet industrial switch models all conveniently include both DIN-Rail mount and wall mount brackets for installation flexibility, and a fanless design for quiet operation.
