Der TRENDnet TEG-S80TX ist ein N-Way Gigabit Switch mit acht 10/100/1000-Mbit/s Gigabit Kupfer Ports. Alle Ports sind "Autosensing" und können in Halb- und Voll-Duplex Modus betrieben werden. Über die acht Gigabit Ports kann der Switch ideal an verschiedene Gigabit Server oder auch an einen weiteren Gigabit Switch angebunden werden. Somit eignet sich dieser Switch besonders als Breitband Backbone in Verbindung mit anderen Gigabit Ethernet-fähigen Switches und Servern. TRENDnet's TEG-S80TX bietet höchste Flexibilität und Migration für hohe Bandbreiten zu einem ungewöhnlich niedrigen Preis.
