TRENDnet's TEG-S18TX Switch ist ausgestattet mit einem 10/100/1000-Mbit/s Gigabit Kupfer-Port und acht 10/100-Mbit/s Fast Ethernet Ports. Alle Ports sind "Autosensing" und können in Halb- und Voll-Duplex Modus betrieben werden. Über den Gigabit Port kann der Switch ideal an einen Gigabit Server oder auch an einen weiteren Gigabit Switch angebunden werden. Somit eignet sich dieser Switch besonders als Backbone in Verbindung mit anderen Gigabit Ethernet-fähigen Switches und Servern. TRENDnet's TEG-S81TX bietet höchste Flexibilität und Migration für hohe Bandbreiten zu einem ungewöhnlich niedrigem Preis.
