UPnP is a feature that allows for the automatic discovery of UPnP devices on your network in order to share and access shared data from devices on your network. UPnP also allows your router to identify application requests from UPnP devices on your network and automatically allow the required connections to and from the Internet for the specified application without having to configure your router.
