Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is used in
network management systems to
monitor network-attached devices for conditions that warrant administrative attention. A software component called an agent runs on each managed system and reports information via SNMP to the managing systems. The TEG-ECTX and TEG-ECSX are SNMP Version1 compliant.
