Yes, the TEG-424WS is firmware upgradeable.  To upgrade the firmware you will need to access the web interface of the unit and click on System>Firmware Upgrade.  From this page you can either upload the firmware to the unit or you can back-up the firmware of the unit to a file should that firmware be more suitable to your needs.  Below is a look of where the Firmware Upgrade is located.
