Can I retain Access Point functions if the AP is configured as a Bridge, or Client AP?
FAQ ID: 388 Product: WirelessUpdated:4/28/2005 1:26:43 PM
No. If an Access Point is configured as a Bridge, or Client AP, the AP can not be used as a wireless Access Point any longer. For instance, a laptop user will not be able to communicate wirelessly with the TEW-430APB that is configured as a wireless Bridge. A user must search for another Access Point nearby using the wireless adapter software utility.
