The TE100-D16S dual-speed 10/100Mbps stackable hub provides a new level of flexibility and easy migration between bandwidths. Each port supports auto sensing between 10Mbps Ethernet and 100Mbps Fast Ethernet. Once port speed is negotiated, the hub stack creates independent segments for the 10Mbps and 100Mbps ports. The TE100-D16S is a desktop stackable hub, which can be stacked up to five hubs high. 16-port hubs give a total of 80 Ethernet or Fast Ethernet ports. The TE100-D16s can be stacked with a TE100-DM24/DS24 and managed by a TE100-DM24 SNMP master hub. In the basic configuration, 10Mbps and 100Mbps are separate and do not intercommunicate. An optional TE100-DSM module can be installed in any switch in the stack, making it possible to transparently bridge between the 10Mbps and 100Mbps segments. Other slide-in modules are also available, providing 100Base-TX or 100Base-FX connections.
