Dynamic DNS is not currently configured. If your WAN Internet type is DHCP (Dynamic IP), your Internet IP address will change dynamically by your Internet Service Provider. Your Internet IP address will be used for VPN client connections and the client configuration files will need to be downloaded again each time the Internet IP address changes. Therefore, it is recommended to configure Dynamic DNS (Advanced > Setup > Management) first before using the VPN feature.

First, click the OpenVPN drop-down menu and select Enabled and click Apply to enable VPN. Next, download the appropriate VPN client software for your operating system from
https://openvpn.net/index.php/open-source/downloads.html,
and then install the software on computers you would like to establish VPN connectivity. Under the VPN Client Configuration section, click Export to download the client configuration file(s) required for your VPN client software to establish connectivity to your router. Copy the configuration file(s) to the appropriate VPN client installation folder (installation folder directories below) on your computer. If the exported configuration file is a .zip, please extract the files first and copy them to the VPN client installation folder. Please note that Linux will require you to change the configuration file extension from client.ovpn to client.conf.
