The Port Sniffer (mirroring) is a method for monitoring traffic in switched networks.
Use this page to select Analysis port and Monitor port for this switch.
Sniffer Type is an option to monitor the traffic type on the monitor port. Select TX or RX to see one-way traffic, or BOTH for bi-directional traffic. Select DISABLE to disable port sniffer function.
The port you want to monitor. A Monitor port traffic will be copied to Analysis (sniffer) port. You can select one Monitor port in the switch. To make this function enabled, you have to change this parameter from None to an available Monitor port.
Analysis port can be used to see monitor port traffic. You can connect Analysis port to LAN analyzer or netxray.
