Spanning Tree Management Help
The Spanning-Tree Protocol is a standardized method for avoiding loops in switched
networks.
CIST PerPort Parameters
- Path Cost
- The contribution of the path through this port, when the port is the root port, to the
total cost of the path to the root for this bridge. Value range is from 1 to 200000000.
- Priority
- You can make it more or less likely to become the root port, the lowest number has
the highest priority. Value range is from 0 to 240, the value must be in steps of 16. Default value is 128.
- Admin Edge
- You can choose the value of YES if you want the port to be edge port. If the port is edge port,
when the port becomes a Designated Port it can rapidly transition to the Forwarding Port State.
Value range is NO or YES. Default value is NO.
- Admin Non -STP
- If you want to disable spanning tree protocol on the port, you can choose the value of YES to this port.
Value range is NO or YES. Default value is NO.
- Admin P2P
- If you want point-to-point link auto detection on the port, you can choose the value of AUTO to this port.
If you want point-to-point link of the port always be true, you can choose the value of YES to this port. If you
want point-to-point link of the port always be false, you can choose the value of NO to this port. Value range
is NO or YES. Default value is AUTO.
