When searching for a wireless network, how do I know if itís a wireless a or wireless b/g/n WLAN?

Depending on the type of wireless adapter you are using, you should see the wireless network that your adapter will support. If the wireless adapter is an 802.11 b/g/n, you will see all 2.4GHz wireless networks (802.11 b/g/n). If your wireless adapter is an 802.11a, then you will see all 5GHz wireless networks. Only dual band wireless adapters will see both 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless networks at the same time.
