I have the KVM switch connected properly but my keyboard and mouse doesn't function. Why?

If you are using a USB mouse, make sure your USB port is working properly. You can simply test the USB port by seeing if whether your other USB devices work when connected to that port. Once the USB port is confirmed to be functional, reboot your computers and try to use the KVM Switch again.
